Lisa Burk-McCoy Joins Squamscott Staff!

Lisa Burk-McCoy is the new Campaign Associate for the Commons. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a B.A. in Comparative Literature, she worked in advertising and marketing in St. Louis, MO and Portland, ME. She ran her own marketing business in Portland and founded a health care practice with her husband, Kris, before retiring to raise children. As an Exeter resident since 1997 (along with Kris and their children, Ethan and Hannah), Lisa is a committed community volunteer, working primarily in children’s programming. She began her work with the Commons as a volunteer helping to shepherd the project through the town ballot process and lay groundwork for future fundraising. Lisa is currently working toward her 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga and plays flute with a local celtic folk music and contradance band.
